About the Author:

Dawn Snapp is currently a classroom teacher at Mark Twain Elementary in Springfield, MO. She has been teaching for 22 years, and loves sharing reading and writing with her students.

Dawn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from Missouri State University.

Dawn lives in Springfield, MO with her husband Steve, daughter, Sophie, and her two fur babies Bogey & Bella the Puggle. She also has an older daughter, Kelsey, and is a proud Glamma to Kingston.

Meet my Illustrator:

Sofia Zamora is a natural born artist. This is her first time illustrating a published book, but she has been drawing as long as she can remember. She enjoys sharing her art work with her friends and family. Sofia lives with her mom, brother, grandma, and her two adorable dogs Laney and Tiki. She enjoys playing the violin, ukulele, drawing, and painting. In the future Sofia plans to illustrate more books, graduate from college, and find a career she enjoys.
